- Administers and supervises all medical services performed by the program, directly or by delegation to authorized program physicians/healthcare professionals under the Medical Director's supervision
- Ensures the program complies with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding medical treatment of opioid addiction
Notes
Must be on-site as needed to complete medical needs per standard medical practice, and available by phone/continuously (24/7) otherwise โ not a fixed on-site schedule, but more than pure telecommunication availability. Applies to licensed Opioid Treatment Programs (methadone/OTP), not office-based buprenorphine prescribing outside an OTP โ confirm which model a given client operates under.
